Can I FHA refinance a loan in a condominium project whose FHA approval has been withdrawn?

Answer

Generally, if approval of a condominium project has been withdrawn, FHA will insure only streamline refinances for that condominium project.
However, under certain limited conditions, a condominium project that has been rejected or withdrawn may be reconsidered as outlined in Mortgagee Letter(s) 09-46 B and 09-46 A.
